Faculty & Staff Parking Regulations
Permanent Employees
Sticker Decal - To be displayed on the rear bumper OR on the rear window on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Hanging Decal - To be hung over the rearview mirror of the vehicle and clearly visible and unobstructed to the Parking Lot Attendant.
All permanent faculty and staff are required to purchase a parking decal if they wish to be assigned a parking space in any of the faculty/staff parking lots.
Once a space has been assigned, it will remain the employee’s parking space unless two employees decide they would like to trade within the same lot. When a space becomes available in any of the parking lots, it is not for movement within the lot. By declining movement when an employee’s name comes up on the seniority list for movement from one lot to another, the senior faculty/staff employee forfeits future consideration. The next senior faculty/ staff member is then offered the vacant space. The Business Office maintains the seniority list.
North Campus Permanent Faculty/Staff – Park in assigned space in the YELLOW Zone of Parking Lots NA-1, NA-2, and NB-1. Call 362-7279 if you need to know your space assignment.
Parking is permitted behind the McLeod, Galehouse, and Science Buildings for faculty/staff after 5:00 p.m.
Employees who will be working at both the North and the Wilmington Campuses will have one parking space at the campus where they have their primary office space. Employees who will be traveling from the North to the Wilmington Campus, will have temporary parking in the Student 1, 2 Lots and 2nd Steet County Parking Deck, not in Visitor or Special Parking.
Employees traveling from Wilmington to North campus will have temporary parking in any unnumbered space (Student Parking) in NA-1, NA-2 and NB-1 lots. Do not park in Visitor or Special Parking.
Beginning Spring semester 2009, vehicles which are improperly parked will be booted upon the issuance of the third ticket during the academic year. Vehicles parked in College parking lots that do not display College parking permits will receive a parking ticket with a warning on the first offense, and are subject to being booted on the second offense. The boot removal fee will be $25. This new policy applies to students, faculty and staff.
