Varian AA 240FS & VGA 77 The Varian Atomic Absorption (AA) 240FS brings the productivity and speed of analysis of ICP-OES to AA. Just like an ICP-OES, the AA 240FS measures all elements in each sample, before progressing to subsequent samples. Conventional AA systems still determine one element at a time, repeating all samples for each element in turn. The AA 240FS provides complete results for each sample within minutes. The instrument is also equipped with VGA 77 (Cold Vapor Attachment) allowing analysis of mercury and other hydride forming elements at the parts per billion (ppb) levels. |

Shimadzu HPLC LC-20 Series High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) includes a quaternary LC 20AT pump, variable volume mixer, vacuum degasser, with a dual wavelength UV-VIS detector (wavelength range of 190 - 700 nm) equipped with a temperature controlled flow cell. The HPLC system also includes a SIL-HTC autosampler, allowing 120 samples to be maintained at 4oC. The HPLC operates with the LCSolutions software package. |

Housing three IC systems, the 883 allows quantitative and qualitative testing of anions, cations, organic acids, and other polar substances with and without chemical suppression.
