Laboratory Assistant in Water Analysis Treatment Facility Lab Wilmington, NC

Are you looking for a summer position in a high-throughput, fast-paced environment?  Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking a bright, hard-working, and reliable individual to support laboratory activities within a state funded laboratory.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience with in a “real-world” laboratory and develop skill that will be necessary upon graduation!

Primary responsibilities will be the following:

* Washing and proper rinsing of all glassware utilized by the department.
* Help to maintain overall laboratory cleanliness.
* Follow all safety regulations and utilize all safety equipment provided. Dispose of departments waste properly.
* Possible Sample collection activities

The candidate is expected to be able to follow SOPs and company documentation.
This is a contract position that is expected to last 6 weeks.
The work schedule is M-F, 32-40 hours/week and the pay range is $12-14/hour.  Possible weekend hours if necessary for the project!
