Agency/Location: Michigan DNR, Marquette Fisheries Research Station
Responsibilities: Under direction of respective project biologists: collect, process, record, tabulate, graph, and analyze fisheries biology data from Great Lakes and inland waters for various fisheries research projects; operate, maintain, repair, and in some cases, construct related gear and equipment.
Qualifications: Possession of an Associates Degree in science with course work emphasis in limnology, ichthyology, aquatic systems, or field biology is required. Experience with diverse fish sampling methods, small boat operation, large vessel operations, relevant laboratory procedures, gear maintenance/construction, and Great Lakes fisheries preferred.
Salary: $13.88 -$22.70 per hour, excellent benefits.
