The Quality Enhancement Plan

On April 22, 2015, CFCC’s College Council reviewed the two final proposals for CFCC’s next quality enhancement plan (QEP). One proposal focused on enhancing CFCC’s academic and career advising support services, while the other focused on improving our students’ first year experience. College Council voted unanimously for the first year experience proposal, noting that this proposal included a substantial advising component.

This summer the QEP Development Team will begin drafting a detailed plan for creating a structured first year experience to improve student success at CFCC. A final draft of this plan will be submitted next summer to our regional accrediting agency, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), as part of our reaffirmation of accreditation process.

As we identify potential topics for our next QEP it is important that we receive feedback from our students, faculty, support staff, and members of our community. For more information about CFCC’s next QEP, please email Jason Chaffin, Assessment & Quality Enhancement Director, at
