Geology Club

The Geology Club is open to any student at Cape Fear Community College who expresses an interest in learning more about our planet. The Geology Club has three primary goals:

1. To expand opportunities for extracurricular learning and experiences in geology.
2. To provide community service through environmental projects and educational outreach.
3. To create a sense of community within the Science Department.

The club takes field trips to local points of geologic interest, gem and mineral shows, and future hiking/camping trips. If you are interested in joining check out our message board and information page in Campus Cruiser under the “Campus Life” tab.
