November is Diabetes Awareness month. Follow these tips to stay at your peak and help reduce your risk!

Stress Less-Learn to meditate to help reduce stress and improve your blood sugar levels.

Exercise helps keep your weight and blood sugar under control, and just about everyone can do a brisk daily walk.

Lose excess body fat. Being overweight is a big risk factor for diabetes.

Follow a plant-based, low-calorie diet. Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables—a dietary pattern studies show reduces diabetes risk.

Drink plenty of water on a daily basis.

Practice proper sleep habits.
