CFCC offers many services to our students. From the Learning Lab, and Library, to the Career Connection Job Board and Bookstore, we strive to make our students' lives easier and more productive.
The CFCC Bookstores are the official bookstores serving Cape Fear Community College. Owned and operated by the college, the bookstores are nonprofit and operate for the convenience of CFCC students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.
The mission of Career Services is to encourage and assist students and graduates in the continuous process of career planning, career decision-making, planning for marketability and job search.
The Counseling Services Staff is dedicated to providing current and prospective students with an enriching college experience whether you are a full-time or part-time student.
Disability Services is located in room A 215 of the Galehouse "A" Building on our Downtown Campus.
The Learning Lab offers a place for students to work on computer assignments, prepare for placement tests, receive one-on-one tutoring from instructional facilitators or student tutors, and much more.
Learning Resource Center (Library)
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is CFCC's Library. Students are able to check out books and videos, study, perform research, and browse periodicals. The LRC is also home to CFCC's Media Center, and TV Studio.
The Records/Registration Office assists students with registration, and dropping or adding classes. We also issue official transcripts, and process enrollment verifications, applications for graduation, address or name changes, and program of study changes.
Testing Services manages the placement entry assesment program, administers GED testing for Continuing Education, and the Psychological Service Bureau (PSB) test for students applying for certain Health Science programs at CFCC.
