Placement Testing for Distance Learners

Students enrolling in Distance Learning classes who have not had the placement testing requirement waived (see FAQ’s) and are unable to visit the campus for testing, may be administered the test via the Internet.

To have the placement test administered off-campus please use the following steps:

1. Submit an application for admission.

2. Send Official Transcripts from High School and any colleges attended to CFCC.

3. Verify with Testing Services that the college has received and posted your application and transcript(s).

4. Contact Testing Services to arrange an off-campus proctored administration of the placement test.  The test administration site will need to be approved by Testing Services and proctored in a location such as a school or library.  Additionally, the test proctor will be required to sign a security agreement.
