The transfer faculty, composed of 192 members, are from culturally diverse backgrounds:- Holders of masters degrees; approximately 10% doctoral-level degrees.

Student Profile & Other Facts
Transfer students range in age from 16 to 69. The average age is 23.
- The primary transfer institution is UNC-Wilmington, which is about seven miles from either campus. The two largest programs are the Associate in Arts: General Studies and the Associate in Science: General Studies. They are followed by the Business Administration, Psychology, Business Education/Marketing Education, and Elementary Education. Statistics show that students who complete their two-year degree at CFCC outperform students who transfer without a degree.
- Of our Fall 2009 transfer graduates, 59% posted a 3.0 or better grade-point average.
