This establishes whether you&#8217;ll pay in-state or out-of-state tuition. Once completed, you will be assigned a Residency Certification Number (RCN). Save this number! You&#8217;ll need it for the CFCC admission application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are currently enrolled or previously attended a North Carolina college or university, please review this information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[If you have a valid residency status that will not expire before the term you wish to enroll begins, you do not need to complete the residency process again. You can use your current\/valid residency certification number for CFCC enrollment. If this is the case, proceed to step two, the admissions application.  If your residency certification will expire before the term you wish to enroll begins, please continue with the residency application and renew your residency status.]<\/p> <div class=\"iwi-accordion\"> <p class=\"iwi-target-container1\"> <a href=\"#\"> <strong>We recommend you have access to the following information before you start your residency:<\/strong> <\/a>  <div id=\"container1\" class=\"\"> <ul>\n<li>Driver\u2019s License or Non-Driver ID<\/li>\n<li>Tax Return Information<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle License &#038; Registration Information<\/li>\n<li>Social Security Number<\/li>\n<li>Voter Registration (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Other Documents (Requested by RDS)<\/li>\n<li>Immigration Documents (if applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are under the age of 25, you will most likely need to complete residency with a parent or legal guardian.<\/p>\n<p>Need assistance completing residency? If for some reason we need you to re-submit any documents, we&#8217;ll notify you during the admission process.<\/p>\n<p>If you have earned an associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university, you may submit an official college transcript with a graduation date in place of an official high school transcript. CFCC awards thousands of <a href=\"\/financial-aid\/scholarships\/\"> scholarships <\/a> each year. The first step is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.<\/p>\n<p>Things to keep in mind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The CFCC school Code is 005320<\/li>\n<li>If you need help completing your FAFSA, our financial aid office is available for walk-in sessions at CFCC\u2019s Downtown and North Campus.
