The primary goal of this center is to provide an environment that fosters the growth of the whole child in all areas of development including social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative with the ultimate result that children reach their maximum potential. Believing that children are competent, autonomous people, each child\u2019s developmental level, needs, and interests will be of utmost priority. The program model is based upon the concept that children learn through play and \u201chands-on\u201d experiences. They will interact with the environment, explore, experiment, and problem solve. The program will be child-centered including free play, individualized, and small group teacher-directed activities.<\/p>\n
The facility consists of 6 classrooms, one multi-purpose room, a parent\/staff resource room, three bathrooms, kitchen, Assistant Administrator reception area, and Administrator\u2019s office. It has a fenced-in playground, which includes a bricked and railed activity deck.<\/p>\n
The program\u2019s maximum enrollment capacity for children is 80 and is modeled by child-centered, hands-on experiences and creative problem-solving. Their environment and interactions between children and adults provide the setting for meaningful foundations for life-long learning.<\/p>
