The cumulative grade point average is reviewed at the end of each semester to determine whether the student has made the expected progress. The minimum cumulative GPA for remaining in good standing is a 2.00.<\/p>\n<p>Students receiving financial aid must maintain satisfactory academic progress (SAP) to be eligible to continue to receive funding. All earned grades will be used to determine a student\u2019s compliance with the 2.0 cumulative GPA requirement, and all attempted hours will be included in the calculation of maximum time frame.<\/p>\n<p>Students must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA to graduate.<\/p>\n<h4>Academic Warning<\/h4>\n<p>Students whose cumulative grade point averages fall below 2.0 for any given semester will be placed on academic warning for the following semester. Students are encouraged to meet with their assigned advisor, counselor, career coach (CCP dual enrolled high school students), or liaison (Early College students) to discuss success strategies.<\/p>\n<h4>Academic Probation<\/h4>\n<p>Students on academic warning whose cumulative grade point average remains below the Satisfactory Progress Standards (2.00) will be placed on academic probation for the following semester. Students on academic probation will receive a registration hold on their account until they meet with a counselor, career coach (CCP dual enrolled high school students), or liaison (Early College students) to develop an Academic Improvement Plan and discuss course registration or schedule changes. The Academic Improvement Plan is designed to provide a structured roadmap for students to improve their academic performance, achieve their education goals, and return to good academic standing.<\/p>\n<h4>Continued Academic Probation<\/h4>\n<p>Students on academic probation whose cumulative grade point average remains below the Satisfactory Progress Standards (2.00) for the following semester and future semesters will receive a registration hold on their account each semester and will be required to meet with a counselor, career coach (CCP dual enrolled high school students), or liaison (Early College students) to review their Academic Improvement Plan prior to registration.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that students placed on academic probation will likely incur a negative impact on their financial aid, scholarships, and\/or Veteran\u2019s benefits.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Satisfactory Progress Standards Each student is expected to make satisfactory progress toward obtaining the degree, diploma, or certificate he\/she has declared.
