Biography

Tammy received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Walden University. She is certified in hospice and palliative nursing care. Tammy has led numerous quality improvement projects that have improved access to hospice and palliative care in a two-state region. Tammy worked in hospice care for 10 years as a nurse case manager, referral and intake director, director of regulatory affairs, and as the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer. Tammy started working at CFCC in June of 2019 as a first level nursing instructor for the Associate Degree Nursing Program.
