Biography
Breana Hebert is an accomplished fundraising professional with over eight years of experience. She served as Wilmington Symphony Orchestra’s first ever Director of Development from 2018-2022, successfully creating a fundraising plan for the organization and increasing gifts by 20% over 4 years. As Director of Advancement for the CFCC Foundation, Breana is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program to achieve sustained fundraising growth for the college and oversees the day-to-day operations of the foundation.
Breana received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance (flute) from Alma College in Michigan – Go Scots! While attending Alma, she served as a work study student in Admissions as a Student Admissions Representative, as well as in the Advancement office calling Alumni and Friends of the College asking for pledges. Breana was also a dual enrollment student at Lansing Community College during her senior year in high school.
Breana is a WILMA Leadership graduate (2020) and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Cape Fear Region Chapter as Communications Chair. Breana is a flautist with the Wilmington Symphonic Winds and enjoys going to concerts and music theater shows, riding bikes and spending time outdoors with her husband and their cat Yoyo.
