Biography

Graphic design is my specialty. I’ve worked twenty years in the real world. Some of my positions were: Creative Director for an 18 million dollar stationery company where I interviewed, hired, and trained an 11-person graphic design department; a staff artist/designer for Campbell Soup, Tyco Toys, Butterfly Originals, Russ Berry, Panosh, Spindex.

I slowly transitioned to Academia, teaching what I love, Graphic Design. The Art Institute of Philadelphia was my first teaching job. (16 Years) Along the way, I’ve seen the industry change for the better with new technology and continuous updates.

I’ve joined organizations such as AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts).

To sum up: I am a DESIGNER, typography master, associate professor, mother, and mentor to all interested.
