Carolyn manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of Student Accessibility Services. She is responsible for ensuring compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. She also coordinates services for students with disabilities by securing documentation, developing student accommodation plans, providing referral resources and linkages to counseling and career services for students, and staying abreast of the latest laws governing disabilities. Carolyn is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Winston-Salem State University.
