{"id":7,"date":"2019-09-30T14:43:09","date_gmt":"2019-09-30T18:43:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cfcc.edu\/honors-program\/?page_id=7"},"modified":"2024-05-28T15:40:40","modified_gmt":"2024-05-28T19:40:40","slug":"eligibility-requirements-and-how-to-apply","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cfcc.edu\/honors-program\/eligibility-requirements-and-how-to-apply\/","title":{"rendered":"Eligibility Requirements and How to Apply"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>CFCC Honors Program Eligibility Requirements<\/h4>\n<h6>Current College Student<\/h6>\n<p>If you are a <strong>current <\/strong>college student with a <strong>3.5 GPA<\/strong> in at least <strong>12 credit hours<\/strong> completed at the college level, then you are eligible for the Honors Program.<\/p>\n<p>Recent High School Graduate: If you are a recent high school graduate with a 3.5 GPA (unweighted) in high school, then you are eligible for the Honors Program.<\/p>\n<h6>Early College High School<\/h6>\n<p>If you are currently enrolled in an early high school college with a <strong>3.5 GPA (unweighted)<\/strong> in high school <strong>or <\/strong>a <strong>3.5 GPA<\/strong> in at least 12 Credit Hours completed at the college level, then you are eligible for the Honors Program.<\/p>\n<h6>Career and College Promise (Dual Enrollment)<\/h6>\n<p>If you are currently in high school and taking college courses through a Career and College Promise program with a <strong>3.5 GPA (unweighted)<\/strong> in high school or a 3.5 GPA  in at least <strong>12 credit hours<\/strong> completed at the college level, then you are eligible for the Honors Program.<\/p>\n<p>College students must be enrolled in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cfcc.edu\/admissions\/admissions-steps\/transfer-students\/\"> college transfer track <\/a> to participate in the Honors Program. <\/a> For new students, a CFCC college application must be completed prior to completion of the honors program application. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: Students must have completed (or tested out of) all developmental coursework prior to enrolling in honors classes. <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CFCC Honors Program Eligibility Requirements Current College Student If you are a current college student with a 3.5 GPA in at least 12 credit hours completed at the college level, then you are eligible for the Honors Program.
