All positions are contingent upon yearly budget allocations, subject to review, and prior annual contract renewal does not guarantee continued employment and contract renewal in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Academic freedom is essential to an institution of higher learning and should not be cause for dismissal or non-renewal of contract.
