If an employee is injured because of, or in the course of their employment, or contracts an occupational related medical condition, the employee may be eligible to medical attention at the College\u2019s expense. In addition, the employee will be paid for lost time as provided for by the Workers\u2019 Compensation Act.<\/p>\n<p>The first responsibility for workers\u2019 compensation lies with the employee. It is imperative for the employee to report the accident or occupationally related medical condition to their supervisor and Human Resources.
