With this course, you&#8217;ll develop industry knowledge, competencies, and skills in distribution and logistics management.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to learning the lifecycle of the supply chain, you&#8217;ll also learn about all the logistic modalities. This course focuses on the professional skills and abilities needed in distribution and warehousing, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Materials Management<\/li>\n<li>Yard Management<\/li>\n<li>Material Handling Equipment<\/li>\n<li>Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)\/(WES) AS\/RS<\/li>\n<li>Facilities Management<\/li>\n<li>Distribution Centers<\/li>\n<li>Fulfillment Centers<\/li>\n<li>Cold Storage<\/li>\n<li>Osha 10 including Forklift Safety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This course also includes employment preparation, resume review, and industry interview preparation with interactions with local employers!<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Schedule<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Fall registration is open! Day and night classes are available, with online coursework supplementing classroom learning.<\/p>\n<p>The schedule includes monthly Friday daytime visits to the local Food Bank&#8217;s warehouse.
