Whether you\u2019re considering film school, aiming for a career in the industry, or simply love movies, this 8-week course will give you hands-on experience exploring the various departments in film production and the way they collaborate on set.<\/p>\n<p>This course introduces students to the fundamentals of filmmaking. Perfect for aspiring creators, influencers, and small business owners, this course teaches you how to make engaging content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.<\/p>\n<p>This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of video production for social media. Coursework covers camera basics, lighting, sound, storytelling, editing, and platform-specific strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Students will:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"px-3\">\n<li>Learn to plan, shoot, and edit professional-looking videos using accessible equipment and software.<\/li>\n<li>Understand audience engagement strategies and best practices for each major platform.<\/li>\n<li>Create and share original short-form videos tailored to personal or professional goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr> <div class=\"text-larger mb-4\"> Screenwriting <\/div> <p>Develop compelling scripts for film and video with a local production company. Students explore storytelling techniques used in professional filmmaking. Through guided writing exercises and table reads with actors, students gain real-world insight into the pre-production process.
