Students will be taught how to identify and describe the current types of body\/frame construction for antique and classic model vehicles using fabrication and modification; identify and describe the individual components of both conventional and unitized construction; evaluate vehicle damage through the proper application of measuring and gauging equipment and sequencing techniques; identify and differentiate between the types of equipment available for making effective frame and underbody repairs; and return vehicle to street drivable.<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: Burgaw Center <\/a> .
\nDays & Times<\/strong>: Mondays and Tuesdays from 6pm – 9pm.

Course Technical & Physical Requirements <\/a> <\/h4>
To be successful in this course, students must be able to:<\/strong><\/p>\n
    \n
  • Students will be standing for long periods of time up to 3 hours, using tools and machinery.<\/li>\n
  • The environment is very loud assembling, repairing vehicle bodies.<\/li>\n
  • Students need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.<\/li>\n
  • They will handle hoists jacks and jack stands.<\/li>\n
  • Safety is key.<\/li>\n
