Empowering Tomorrow's Artists - Advocating for Inclusivity and Diversity - 2020

North Carolina Community College Fine Arts Conference

This conference is for fine and performing arts educators from the state of North Carolina to share ideas, network, and find common ground. The Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) Association was established to help solidify articulation agreements between members of the NC Community College System, the University of North Carolina System, and the NC Independent Colleges and Universities. The main objective is to forge and maintain articulation agreements, bilateral agreements, and working partnerships for the benefit of all students. For the second year, we will be hosting Advertising and Graphic Design faculty as well, with special sessions and workshops specific to those disciplines. The theme of this year’s conference is: Empowering Tomorrow’s Artists – Advocating for Inclusivity and Diversity. The dates will run from February 20-22 and will take place on the downtown campus of Cape Fear Community College.
