Working under the supervision of registered or licensed nurses, they provide hands-on support in various settings \u2014 including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, adult day health centers, doctors&#8217; offices, and even private homes.<\/p>\n<p>As a Nurse Aide, you&#8217;ll be on the front lines of patient care \u2014 assisting with daily activities, ensuring comfort and safety, and communicating essential information to the healthcare team.<\/p>\n<p>The CFCC Nurse Aide I (NAI) training program is approved by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation (DHSR). Students who successfully complete the NAI training are eligible to sit for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program exams. Upon passing both the written and skills exams, the student will be placed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry maintained by DHSR.<\/p>\n<p>The CFCC Nurse Aide II (NA II) program is approved by the NC Board of Nursing.
