Fieldwork complements classroom learning for real-world application.<\/p>\n<p>At Cape Fear Community College, we offer an Associate in Applied Science degree in Human Services Technology with concentrations in Human Services, Addiction and Recovery Studies, and Mental Health.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates find diverse career paths in mental health, child care, family services, social services, rehabilitation, corrections, residential services, and educational agencies. Graduates of our program are well-equipped for positions such as substance abuse counselors, DWI counselors, halfway house workers, residential facility employees, and substance education specialists.<\/p>\n<p>Students are encouraged to contact a Social &amp; Human Services Faculty Advisor before registering for courses in the Addictions &amp; Recovery Studies certificate.
