The Accommodated Testing Procedures for Classes section below can read more about it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accommodated proctoring for Testing Services is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students registered with Student Accessibility Services may be able to receive accommodations for tests proctored by <\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/cfcc.edu\/testing-services\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Testing Services<\/span> <\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Tests by GED\u00ae Testing and Pearson VUE Professional Certifications have their own accommodation process, found on their websites.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For students not already registered with Student Accessibility Services, please visit our <\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/cfcc.edu\/student-accessibility-services\/eligibility\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">eligibility page,<\/span> <\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or contact us at <\/span> <a href=\"mailto:sas@cfcc.edu\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sas@cfcc.edu<\/span> <\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <a href=\"tel:9103627017\" class=\"contact-link\"> 910-362-7017 <\/a> .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For other tests proctored by Testing Services, (besides tests by GED\u00ae Testing, and tests by Pearson VUE Professional Certifications) please fill out the <\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/cfcc.edu\/disability-support-services\/accommodated-testing-services-request\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">accommodated Testing Services form<\/span> <\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACCOMMODATED TESTING PROCEDURES FOR CLASSES<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>In order for students to be eligible to take accommodated tests in the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) office, they must be officially registered with the SAS office.<\/li>\n<li>Students needing a space for testing are responsible for scheduling accommodated tests via the <a href=\"https:\/\/cfcc.edu\/student-accessibility-services\/accommodated-testing-form\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> online Accommodated Testing Form <\/a> .<\/li>\n<li>In order to ensure services, student requests for accommodated testing must be submitted at least three (3) full business days in advance of the test date. Failure to submit the request within this timeframe may result in the student\u2019s need to take the test with the class due to staffing, space, and preparation constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Additional needs, i.e., computer, assistive technology, must be indicated within the form in order for SAS staff to plan accordingly. Absence of this information may cause a delay in and\/or lack of services.<\/li>\n<li>Requests to take exams at an alternate testing date and\/or time must be approved by the instructor. If it is not approved, the student will be expected to take the exam at the normal class time.<\/li>\n<li>Students are expected to arrive on time for all testing appointments. Students arriving late will have the time deducted from their testing time (tests will still end at the previously approved time). Students arriving later than 20 minutes of exam start time may require instructor approval prior to beginning their test. If testing appointments are missed, students should contact their instructor, as well as the SAS office. Rescheduled exams require instructor approval.<\/li>\n<li>The instructor will indicate materials that are allowed in the testing room during testing. If the item is not indicated, then it will not be permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Students will leave personal belongings, i.e., cell phones, books, bags outside of the testing room during testing. If medication or medical supplies are needed, students should inform a SAS staff member of this need. Food and\/or drink will only be allowed if the student has this as an approved accommodation due to a disability.<\/li>\n<li>Neither students nor testing materials are allowed to leave the testing site during testing. It is highly recommended that students avoid parking in metered spaces, as students will not be permitted to add money to meters during testing. If it is necessary to leave the testing site in an extreme circumstance, the student should speak to a SAS staff member immediately.<\/li>\n<li>During a test, let the proctors know <strong>immediately<\/strong> if you have a problem or concern about your accommodations not being met.
