Parking At CFCC

CFCC and the Wilmington Convention Center (WCC) have entered into a temporary partnership to allow Part-Time Employees and Students to utilize parking in the WCC Parking Deck on Nutt Street. Beginning on Monday, January 23, CFCC patrons will be allowed to park in the WCC Parking Deck Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 6 pm. It is hoped that this temporary partnership will help ease the burden on CFCC Students and Part-Time Employees until the Union Station Parking Deck is completed.
In order to park in the WCC Deck during these hours, you must display a current CFCC Parking Decal. You will stop at the entrance to the Deck and receive a WCC Hang Tag to display, in addition to your CFCC Parking Decal. Park as directed and the same rules and regulations apply as if parking on CFCC Property. Upon exiting the WCC Deck, you will return the WCC Hang Tag. Keeping the Hang Tag does not allow you re-entry into the Deck. This is utilized to simply keep count of open spaces within the Deck. If you keep the Hang Tag, it prohibits another CFCC patron from occupying a space. Once the WCC Deck is full, there will be a sandwich board out in front of the Deck to indicate at capacity.
WCC is also a no smoking facility and CFCC no smoking policy applies to this Parking Deck as well.

Do You Want To Park In The Parking Deck?
Great News CFCC! The Nutt Street Parking Deck is now open and available for you to use. What do you need to do to be able to park there?
- You must be a currently enrolled student. (Pre-registered for Fall 2010 and/or Spring 2011)
- Get your CFCC ID card programmed in the LRC (Downtown or North Campus) before you drive to the deck.
- Swipe your programmed CFCC Student ID (with the magnetic stripe up) to enter and exit the deck.
- Display a current and valid CFCC parking decal at all times while parked in the deck.

How do I get a parking decal or hang tag?
If you are a Student, Full time or Part time Employee...
Download, print and fill out the following form. Then bring the form to the cashiers office at either the Wilmington or North Campuses. You can pay for and pick up you parking decal or hang tag on the same day
What do I do if the parking deck is full?
* If the Parking Deck is at capacity, you MUST seek parking elsewhere. You CANNOT sit on the City Street waiting for a vehicle to exit. Traffic flow must continue and cannot be blocked.
If the Nutt St Parking Deck is full, you still have the option of utilizing student Parking Lots 1, 2 or the 2nd Street County Parking Deck. If you have any questions, please call me at extension 7279 or send me an email.
