Counseling services can empower you to improve your academic performance, employment readiness, relationships, and general well-being.
We encourage you to meet with a counselor when you want to talk about:
- Stress management and coping skills
- Life balance and self-care
- Grief and loss
- Formulating a plan for academic success
- Exploring soft skills that can improve your GPA
- Anything that causes you worry or distress
All Professional Counseling Staff hold a master’s degree in the counseling field and are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on a walk-in basis. Students are welcome to make appointments during non-peak times. We will discuss concerns, provide guidance, and make community referrals when appropriate.
Confidentiality: Services provided by CFCC Counseling Staff are confidential in keeping with ethical standards unless a student indicates they are at risk of harming themselves or others.
CFCC also offers online counseling services for academic matters. All counseling services are at no cost to current students and alumni. Students are reminded to use their CFCC email account when submitting questions online.
