Cape Fear Community College Counseling Services staff is dedicated to providing all current and prospective students with an enriching college experience.  Counselors are available to assist students in clarifying both educational and personal goals while establishing appropriate academic plans.

The goal of our professional staff is to encourage each student’s self-development, and help to enhance their critical thinking skills.

CFCC also offers on-line counseling services for distance learning students.  All counseling services are free of charge.  Students are reminded to use their CFCC email account when submitting questions on-line.

Confidential conferences can be arranged if students are experiencing social or personal difficulties.  Counselors will discuss concerns, provide needed guidance and make community referrals when  appropriate.
