Program Description

  • Trains individuals to assist and support licensed pharmacists in providing healthcare and medications to patients
  • Day-time classes
  • Classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory experience, and practical experience in five different area pharmacies

CFCC now has two options for education in Pharmacy Technology:

One-year Diploma Program

Associate in Applied Science Program:

AAS (for students currently enrolled in the Diploma Program)

AAS Transition  (for Diploma graduates who wish to continue their education)

Upcoming Information Sessions

Information Sessions for the Diploma Program will be held on the downtown campus of Cape Fear Community College in L330 (Pharmacy Technology Lab) on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, February 6, 2019 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Room L330
  • Wednesday, March 13, 2019 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Room L330
  • Wednesday, April 17, 2019 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Room L330
