Truck Work: The Bare-Boned Basics

November 15-17

This 20-hour non-certification class will consist of 4 hours of lecture and 16 hours of hands-on training related to traditional truck company operations.

The role and responsibilities of a designated truck company is to create survivable space and remove trapped occupants. Throughout this class, students will be exposed to the culture, mindset, and task level skills necessary for a dynamic truck company to successfully carry out this mission.

By focusing on the bare bones basics of a truck company’s role and responsibility, each student will develop knowledge and experience performing their truck company’s primary function via multiple reps executed under the guidance of a well-versed training staff.

The hands-on portion of the class will establish an emphasis on fireground assignments such as gaining entry, ventilation, search, and vertical access to structures.

The course fee is $150.00, registration will open September 1.
