The Small Business Center Mission
The Small Business Center mission is to increase the success rate and number of profitable small businesses in New Hanover and Pender Counties. We provide:
- Seminars/classes to prospective and existing small business owners.
- Free, confidential one-on-one business and technology counseling.
- Access to our extensive Business Resource Library of training videos, business planning and web-editing software, business books and pamphlets.
SBC NEWS
The CFCC SBC is now publishing a monthly newsletter.
It offers a small business topic, a feature on Continuing Education, upcoming seminar information, and when appropriate, features on individuals we have met who have recently started their own small businesses.

HOW DO I REGISTER ON LINE?
- Open up registration form and fill it out (you may omit social security and driver's license number.)
- Close the registration form. You will be asked if you want to save it. Click 'yes'.
- Save the form to a location you use regularly (such as 'My Documents')
- Attach the saved form to an email and send to sbc@cfcc.edu.
Once registered we will email directions and a parking pass a few days before the event. Or print a registration form, then fax it: ATT: SBC 910-362-7190
