If you are looking for an adventure instead of just a job then you are in the right place!  This curriculum is designed to prepare individuals for exciting and rewarding careers in the construction management field. Such positions may include superintendent, assistant project manager, estimator, scheduler, safety manager, or foreman. Course work includes construction materials and methods, business management, building science, green building, planning, scheduling, cost control, human relations, estimating, safety training and building codes.   Students will also gain proficiency in specific hands on construction related skills such as carpentry, surveying, mechanical/electrical systems and materials testing.  In addition to learning basic computer skills, students will also learn how to operate cutting edge computer based software such as Autodesk Computer Aided Drafting, Revit Building Information Modeling, Primavera Scheduling and Timberline Estimating.    Graduates of our Associate in Applied Science Degree are also eligible to take part in our transfer agreements with select Universities in North Carolina!  Contact the CMT Department for more information.  This program is where graduates get jobs!  910-362-7658
