Welcome to Basic Skills
We are located on the 1st floor of the McLeod (S) Building.
The Basic Skills Department includes the following programs:
Adult High School (AHS)
Compensatory Education (CED)
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Ingles como Segundo Idioma (ESL)
GED and Adult Basic Education (GED/ABE)
All classes are free of charge.
Courses are designed to increase reading, mathematics, written and verbal communication skills. Classes are located on all Cape Fear Community College campuses and at various off-campus sites in both New Hanover and Pender counties.
