All classes are free of charge or fee waived and offered at CFCC’s downtown location, North Campus, Burgaw Center, and other convenient locations throughout New Hanover and Pender Counties. Online courses are also available for Adult High School (AHS) and preparation for the GED® Test.

Adult High School
The Adult High School (AHS) is a credit-based program designed for students who have not yet completed high school and wish to earn their diploma. There is no cost to students! CFCC’s Bridge to Independence Program is designed for students with developmental disabilities who want to explore education, build job skills, and prepare for meaningful employment. English as a Second Language
Learn or improve your English for free with Cape Fear Community College’s English as a Second Language (ESL) classes!The ESL program is designed for adults whose native language is not English. Classes focus on English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, and are designed for students at all levels. Beginning learners to advanced English speakers are welcome!
