This student club trains in the traditional art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Including drilling  various escapes, submissions and leveraging techniques. The club meets and drills technique and then actively rolls. The purpose of this club is to provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment where by any interested student can improve his/her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skill set. The BJJ club  focuses on providing opportunities for students to gain leadership experience and promote a positive lifestyle of continual improvement.


  • Use “ training appropriate” force with all submissions and techniques. If you feel the pressure, TAP!!
  • No foul language
  • Keep your feet clean
  • Wear flip flops when not on the mat
  • You must always wear a shirt or rash guard
  • Your No Gi apparell must be clean at all times
  • Be respectful towards your training partners,
    all jewelry, piercings, and other ornamental items will be removed for training.
  • For Gi training, wash your GI before every training session.
  • The club will not let you train if your GI stinks.
  • Personal hygiene must be of the HIGHEST STANDARD – hair washed, finger and toe nails cut, feet clean!!!
  • No Cell Phones, shoes, food, or drinks on the mat
  • No striking
  • Respect an individuals’ dignity; verbal or physical behaviors that constitute harassment or abuse are unacceptable.
  • Ensure the safety of others while training
  • If you engage in any inappropriate or combative behavior you will be suspended from the club indefinitely.
