The Program is approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc

The purpose of the Associate Degree Nursing Program at Cape Fear Community College is to provide high quality education to individuals in the community seeking a career as a registered nurse and to promote the transition of the licensed practical nurse into the role of the registered nurse.  Upon completion of the course of study and successfully passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), the student may enter employment as a registered nurse.

When ADN students admistered vaccinations for the H1N1 flu virus. ADN Faculty were among those getting their flu shots.
