Prepare for the Future!

GED® Test Preparation and Adult Basic Skills Classes Students can take classes that will help them improve their reading, writing and math skills to obtain a high school diploma, pass the GED® Test, or get a job. We also offer the GED Ready™ Official Practice Tests and are an official GED® Test Center. The Diploma Exam Preparation program helps students who do not have a high school diploma prepare for the GED® Test. The GED® Test has 4 parts:

      • Reasoning through Language Arts
      • Social Studies
      • Science
      • Math

All classes are FREE and offer GED Ready™ Official Practice Tests at no cost to eligible students. Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes are also available to help students who want to improve their basic academic and employability skills.

Classes are offered at CFCC’s downtown campus, North Campus, Burgaw Center, online and in other convenient locations throughout New Hanover and Pender Counties.
