This 4-hour session is provided for students who have attained, or are in the process of obtaining, their U.S. Coast Guard Captain's or Mate's License for vessels of 200 gross tons or less. This course serves in lieu of taking an Assistance Towing Endorsement examination at any U.S. Coast Guard Regional Examination Center. Cape Fear Community College has been granted approval to offer this course by the U.S. Coast Guard National Maritime Center.
