CFCC announces “Back to Work Bootcamp” to assist job seekers

Wilmington, NC – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is excited to announce a “Back to Work Bootcamp,” a program designed to assist individuals who have been out of the workforce for an extended period of time or who have experienced job loss. This initiative aims to help individuals rebuild confidence, explore new career opportunities, and equip participants with essential job search skills.

Program details:

• Dates: February 24-26, 2025
• Time: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Location: NCWorks Career Center, 1994 S. 17th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401
• Cost: $70.00 (fee waivers may be available for eligible participants)

“We understand the challenges that come with re-entering the workforce after a hiatus or unexpected job loss,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “Our ‘Back to Work Bootcamp’ is tailored to provide the necessary tools, support, and encouragement to help individuals successfully navigate their job search and secure meaningful employment.”
