It’s not too late to register for fall classes! CFCC has fall start dates in September and October. Need to start or complete your CFCC application? Apply here.

Registration continues through the day before each term starts.

New Students are required to complete the New Student Orientation prior to registering for courses. If you still need to complete the orientation, please complete the orientation at this time.

Do you need help with program planning or advice on which courses to take?
Students who need assistance with course selection and program planning may visit our Academic Advising Center located at the Wilmington Downtown Campus in Union Station, Room U246. You may also call the Sea Devil Support Center at 910-362-7000.

Academic Advising Center Office Hours:

  • Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

*Students should arrive at least an hour before the closing time to ensure they have adequate time for an advisor to meet their needs.

Please note: Financial Aid students must take courses in their major/program. Please check “My Progress” in Student Planning to make sure that the courses you register for apply to your major. Financial Aid will not pay for courses that are not required for your major.



FALL 2018

For classes beginning in September and October 2018, payment is due by 5:00 pm the day before class begins.

If you have questions about financial aid, please visit either the Downtown Wilmington Campus Financial Aid Office in Union Station, Room 138, or the Financial Aid Office at North Campus in the McKeithan Center, Room NA100.

Students who have questions regarding payment may visit the Cashier’s Office either at the Downtown Wilmington Campus in Union Station, Room U173 or at North Campus in the McKeithan Center, Room NA100.



Cape Fear Community College will remain closed through Saturday, September 22, due to the impact of Hurricane Florence. All classes and events scheduled to be held at CFCC, as well as student events, athletic events, practices and related activities have been canceled through Saturday, September 22. On Friday, September 21, the College will send out an update regarding reopening. In the meantime, everyone is urged to follow the direction of emergency officials regarding public safety and travel. Please continue to monitor local news media and follow CFCC’s social media accounts for all updates regarding reopening, and please heed the advice of emergency officials.
