Biography
Jessica joined Cape Fear Community College in May 2006 as a full-time dental hygiene instructor. In July 2019, she became the director of the dental hygiene program. Her course responsibilities include first- and second-year clinic, nutrition, special health care needs patients, dental hygiene theory, and professional development. Jessica enjoys cooking, reading, and running.
She is also a member of the American Dental Educators Association. Her research interests include adult learning, faculty development, and curriculum development. She enjoys baking, reading, and traveling, as well as staying fit by running, participating in group fitness classes, and riding the Peloton bike.
