Important Change for all Post 9/11 GI Bill® Chapter 33 GI Bill® Benefits

Remember starting on 1 August 2022, Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill® students will need at least 1 Resident class to receive the full housing allowance rate.

The MHA rate for Wilmington is $1,398 for a full-time for a full month of school. Remember, the VA pays daily, so each month’s pay is calculated based on how many days you are in class for that month. Also, you need at least seven credit hours to receive the half-time rate. ¾ time is 9, 10, and 11 hours. Online College Payment Rates for 2021 Academic Year (Aug. 1, 2021–July 31, 2022)

Exclusively online training (no classroom instruction) – $950.75 per month, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
