Biography

Before he began teaching math at CFCC, Eric had an impressive career with the US Navy. Eric served as a US Naval Flight Officer from ’83-’94, an Electronic Warfare Operator in the ERA-3B Skywarrior in VAQ-33 in NAS Key West FL from ’85-’88, a Guantanamo Bay Base Operations Officer from ’88-’90, and a Catapult Officer on USS Independence CV-62 from ’90-’94. He has been a Math Instructor at CFCC since 2005. Eric is single and resides the quaint port city of Southport, NC.

Bowie Sr HS Bowie MD (’77); BA in Math from St. Mary’s Coll of MD (’82); Master of Public Admin from Troy State Univ of AL, Navy Campus (’90); MS in Math from UNCW (’00); Studies toward PhD at NC State (’01-’04).
