CFCC Simulation and Game Development program to host information session
Wilmington, NC – One of Cape Fear Community College’s newest programs, Simulation and Game Development, is hosting an information session for prospective students on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 5:15 p.m. in the L Building, room 312 (corner of Red Cross and 2nd Street). Attendees will learn about the program’s offerings, gain insights into what to expect as a student, and receive details about courses available for the Spring 2025 semester. The session will also feature an interactive opportunity to demo games created by the program’s director, providing a firsthand look at the creative possibilities within the field.

This Simulation and Game Development program will prepare graduates for employment in the software sector as design directors, environmental artists, game design consultants, game designers, gamemasters, level designers, or world designers. The program includes a comprehensive curriculum that includes courses in:
- 3D Modeling
- Quality Assurance
- Software Engineering
- C++ Programming
- Graphic Design
