Boost is an official replication of the City University of New York’s (CUNY) Accelerated Study in Academic Programs (ASAP)—a nationally recognized model shown to double graduation rates and improve post-college earnings through a combination of academic, financial, and personal support.

Student Eligibility
- NC Residents: Must qualify for in-state tuition.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency: Dual enrollment students are not eligible.
- Pell or Next NC Scholarship Recipients: Must be receiving this grant or scholarship to qualify. Visit the Next NC website.
- Limited Prior College Credit: Applications must have no more than 50% completed college-level credits
