Program Details

Boost is an official replication of the City University of New York’s (CUNY) Accelerated Study in Academic Programs (ASAP)—a nationally recognized model shown to double graduation rates and improve post-college earnings through a combination of academic, financial, and personal support.

Student Eligibility

  • NC Residents: Must qualify for in-state tuition.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency: Dual enrollment students are not eligible.
  • Pell or Next NC Scholarship Recipients: Must be receiving this grant or scholarship to qualify. Visit the Next NC website.
  • Limited Prior College Credit: Applications must have no more than 50% completed college-level credits
