Leanne Morgan’s Netflix Comedy Special, Filmed at CFCC’s Wilson Center, Hits #1 on Netflix

Wilmington, NC (November 6, 2025) – Cape Fear Community College is excited to announce that comedian Leanne Morgan’s latest Netflix special, Unspeakable Things, filmed at the Wilson Center, has soared to the #1 spot on Netflix.

Morgan drew crowds for four consecutive sold-out shows from June 19-21, 2025. The special’s rise to the top of Netflix’s charts places the Wilson Center in the national spotlight, highlighting the venue’s growing reputation as a premier performance and recording space.

“What an exciting moment for our community to have Wilmington as the backdrop for the #1 show on the world’s #1 streaming platform,” said Zach Pluer, Executive Director of the Wilson Center. “This achievement not only celebrates Leanne Morgan’s talent but also demonstrates the Wilson Center’s growing role as a destination for top-tier productions and performers.”

The Wilson Center, located on CFCC’s downtown campus, is one of the largest and most technologically advanced performing arts venues in Eastern North Carolina. Hosting a wide range of national tours, concerts, Broadway shows, and comedy acts, the Center continues to attract industry attention.
