CFCC to Host Construction Industry and Apprenticeship Career Fair on March 12

Wilmington, NC (February 26, 2026) – Cape Fear Community College will host a Construction Industry and Apprenticeship Career Fair on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The career fair will take place at the North Campus in the NA Building (4500 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne). The event is open to students, job seekers, and community members interested in exploring careers in construction and skilled trades.
Attendees will have the chance to meet local employers and learn about apprenticeship programs. The fair will also highlight more than 10 construction and skilled-trade programs offered at CFCC, all designed to help people get job-ready.
Career paths featured at the fair will include Construction Management, Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Welding, Plumbing, Geomatics (land surveying), Landscaping, Interior Design, and Architectural Technology. Information about paid apprenticeship opportunities will also be available.
This event is a great opportunity for anyone interested in hands-on careers with strong pay and long-term job growth. Attendees can speak directly with industry partners, ask questions, and learn how to take the next step toward a new career.
