CFCC Hosts Inaugural NC Film Vendor Day at Cinespace Studios

Wilmington, NC (September 28, 2026) – Cape Fear Community College invites the film production community and prospective students to the inaugural NC Film Vendor Day on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The free event takes place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Cinespace Studios.

NC Film Vendor Day brings regional industry professionals, vendors, and aspiring filmmakers together for a day of hands-on product demonstrations, facility tours, and collaborative discussion focused on growing North Carolina’s film economy.

With support from BOLD Cine, Christie USA, and Sony, attendees will gain interactive experience with the latest motion picture technology across camera, lighting, sound, and supporting equipment.

In addition to technology showcases, the event offers prospective students and film enthusiasts a firsthand look at CFCC’s Film and Video Production Technology program. Operating out of Stage 3 at Cinespace Studios, the program provides a gateway into the film industry for future crew members, cinematographers, and technicians. Through a practical, hands-on curriculum, students train in camera operation, lighting design, sound engineering, post-production workflows, and set management, learning on professional-grade equipment inside an active studio facility to prepare for real-world production careers.
